All Amazon Web Services Support levels include an unlimited number of support cases, with no need for long-term contracts. Also, with respect to Business and Enterprise Support, as your Amazon Web Services charges grow, you earn volume discounts on your Amazon Web Services Support costs.
Monthly fees for Developer Support, Business Support, Enterprise On-Ramp, and Enterprise Support are calculated based on each month's gross Amazon Web Services charges (before any discounts or credits are applied). The charges for certain Amazon Web Services Services, including Amazon Web Services Support, Amazon Web Services Managed Services, Amazon Web Services Marketplace, Amazon Web Services Professional Services, and Amazon Web Services Training and Certification are not included in the Amazon Web Services Support fee calculations.

If you have usage in both Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, the minimum monthly fees or the fee based on tiered calculation of Enterprise Support, Enterprise On-Ramp, Business Support and Developer Support (if applicable) will be calculated and billed into Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region respectively. Specifically:
(1) Minimum Monthly Fees
For Enterprise On-Ramp, Business Support and Developer Support, the calculation of minimum monthly fees will be split equally into each region;
For Enterprise Support, the calculation of minimum monthly fees will be split proportionally into each region in accordance with the following formula (calculated to the nearest one hundredth):
Minimum Monthly Fees paid in each region = (monthly Amazon Web Services charges in each region/ total monthly Amazon Web Services charges) * ¥100,000
(2) Fee based on Tiered Calculation
Fee based on tiered calculation (if applicable) will be calculated into each region based on the monthly Amazon Web Services charges of the same region in the same monthly billing cycle.
The region split charge model of all the accounts that subscribe to the same level of Amazon Web Services Support plan in an Amazon Organization need to be consistent.
For example, if there is/are one/multiple account(s) in an Amazon Organization subscribing to Developer Support and has/have usage in both Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, all the accounts subscribing to Developer Support in the Amazon Organization would be charged the minimum monthly fees or the fee based on tiered calculation (if applicable) of Developer Support into Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, respectively, with the account(s) not generating monthly Amazon Web Services charges to be charged with 50% of the minimum monthly fees, while the account(s) having monthly Amazon Web Services charges to be charged with 50% of the minimum monthly fees, or the fee based on tiered calculation, whichever is higher.

Purchasing Support for Reserved Resources
When you prepay for compute needs with Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) Reserved Instances, Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) Reserved Instances, Amazon Redshift Reserved Instances, Amazon DynamoDB Reserved Capacity or Amazon ElastiCache Reserved Cache Nodes and the accounts are subscribed to Developer Support, Business Support, Enterprise On-Ramp or Enterprise Support, the upfront charges for each reserved resource are included in the calculation of your Amazon Web Services Support fees in the month you purchase the reserved resources. In addition, any recurring charges for these reserved resources are included in the calculation of your Amazon Web Services Support fees for the month in which these charges are incurred.
If you have existing reserved resources when you sign up for Developer Support, Business Support, Enterprise On-Ramp or Enterprise Support, the upfront charges for the reserved resources, prorated over the term of the reservation, are included in the fee calculation for the first month of Amazon Web Services Support. For example, if you purchase either a one-year Amazon EC2 All or Partial Upfront reserved instance on January 1 and sign up for Business Support on October 1 of the same year, 25% of the upfront fee you paid in January is included in the calculation of Business Support fees for October.
