Overview

Apache RocketMQ is a distributed messaging and streaming media platform with low latency, high performance and reliability, trillion-level capacity and flexible scalability. Apache RocketMQ on Amazon Web Services solution enables you to quickly deploy a configurable and highly available Apache RocketMQ cluster in the Amazon Web Services Cloud.

Low Latency

High Availability
The solution provides high availability by deploying clusters in the DLedger mode based on Raft protocol.
Easy-to-use
This solution provides an out-of-the-box user experience. It provides default setup for Apache RocketMQ cluster. You can also configure parameters for the cluster.
Technical details

The solution automatically deploys high available Apache RocketMQ cluster. It automatically creates and configures the EC2 instances required to run Apache RocketMQ. Depending on your specific use cases, you can configure parameters in the CloudFormation template to set up the RocketMQ cluster (including NameServer and Broker Node). Please refer to the deployment guide for more details.
The following diagram shows the architecture of Apache RocketMQ in a new VPC with default parameters.

Architecture
In the Amazon CloudFormation template, you can configure the parameters such as number of Nameserver nodes and the number of Brokers nodes, etc. The NameServer and Broker Nodes will be deployed to multiple Available Zones.
