Amazon EMR now supports Amazon EC2 R6GD, C6I, M6I, R6I, G4DN, C5A AND X1 Instances in Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD, and Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet.
C6i, M6i, R6i run on Third-generation Intel Xeon Scalable processors, and X1 instances are memory optimized instances with up to 1,952 GiB of DRAM-based instance memory.
