Today, we are enhancing the Amazon Organizations console to enable you to centrally view and update the alternate contacts for your Amazon Web Services accounts. To ensure that you receive important notifications about your Amazon Web Services accounts, we previously released the Accounts SDK that enabled you to programmatically manage billing, operations, and security contacts for accounts in your organization. With this launch, you can now also use the console to easily perform this operation without logging into each account. Support for additional account settings will be available in future releases.
Amazon Organizations helps you centrally manage and govern your environment as you grow and scale your Amazon Web Services resources. Your organization’s administrators can now use the console UI in the management account to centrally manage alternate contacts for member accounts without requiring credentials for each Amazon Web Services account.
The ability to update alternate contacts on Amazon Web Services accounts from the Organizations console is available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
