Amazon Database Migration Service (Amazon DMS) has expanded functionality by adding support for Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL as a target in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL is a new translation layer for Amazon Aurora PostgreSQL that enables Aurora to understand commands from applications written for Microsoft SQL Server. Using DMS, you can now perform full load migrations to Babelfish for Aurora PostgreSQL with minimal downtime.
