Amazon Config now supports 1 new resource type
Amazon Config now supports 1 additional resource type in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.. This expansion provides greater coverage over your Amazon Web Services environment, enabling you to more effectively discover, assess, audit, and remediate an even broader range of resources.
With this launch, if you have enabled recording for all resource types, then Amazon Config will automatically track this new addition. The newly supported resource type is also available in Config rules and Config aggregators.
You can now use Amazon Config to monitor the newly supported resource type in all Amazon Web Services Regions where the supported resource is available:
