Amazon Elastic Beanstalk will add the support of EC2 Launch Template by default when creating environments for all accounts.

With Amazon Elastic Beanstalk, you can easily deploy and manage applications in Amazon Web Services without worrying about configuring the infrastructure that runs those applications. Now, Amazon Elastic Beanstalk will support EC2 Launch Template in Amazon Elastic Beanstalk environments by default after the deprecation of EC2 Launch Configuration. With this feature, you will not need to manually set certain configuration options in any Amazon Web Service accounts, as described in documentation, to direct Amazon Elastic Beanstalk to use the EC2 Launch Template when creating new environments.

This functionality is now available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet and in Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region operated by NWCD.
