Starting today, you can configure your NAT Gateway to support up to 440,000 concurrent connections to a single destination by adding multiple IP addresses to same NAT Gateway.

A NAT Gateway enables instances in a private subnet to connect to services outside the subnet using the IP address associated with the NAT Gateway. Prior to this launch, you could associate one IP address to your NAT Gateway which supports 55,000 concurrent connections to a single destination. This feature allows you to associate up to a total of eight IP addresses to further increase this limit by eight times to 440,000 concurrent connections to a single destination.

This feature is available on NAT Gateways used for both public and private communications in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
