We are excited to announce that the Amazon OpenSearch Service has expanded its geospatial capacities. With new aggregation support in version 2.9, you can do more statistical analysis on your data, making it simpler to draw conclusions and interpret them.
With Amazon OpenSearch Service Version 2.9, we have added Geo Bounds, Geo Centroid, Geo Hash, and Geo Title. The new aggregations are available through OpenSearch APIs. Different aggregations can be used to gather insights on high-level overview of trends, patterns and establish co-relations within the data. OpenSearch 2.9 is now available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
