Amazon CloudWatch Synthetics announces a new update to Synthetics NodeJS runtime version syn-nodejs-puppeteer-5.0 and recommends that customers migrate Synthetics canaries to the latest runtime version. Runtime version syn-nodejs-puppeteer-5.0 includes updates to third-party dependency packages (Puppeteer v19.7.0 and Chromium v111.0.5563.146).
Synthetics canary’s runtime version can be updated using the Amazon Web Services Management Console for CloudWatch, Amazon CloudFormation, Amazon CLI or Amazon SDK. To learn more, refer to the CloudWatch Synthetics runtime support policy.
Amazon CloudWatch Synthetics NodeJS runtime runtime version 5.0, is available in both Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
