Today, Amazon Backup announces support for local time zone selection in your backup plan, allowing you to manage your backup schedule according to your local time zone. Amazon Backup is a fully managed service that centralizes and automates data protection across Amazon Web Services services and hybrid workloads. Now, when creating or editing existing backup plans, you can select a backup window time zone, eliminating the need for manual time zone conversions from UTC.
Local time zone selections are available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
