Amazon RDS for Oracle now supports the launch of additional memory configurations for R5 instance class in the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD, and the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet.

Many Oracle database workloads require high memory, storage and I/O bandwidth but can safely reduce the number of vCPUs without impacting application performance. Providing up to 768 GiB of memory and a 32:1 memory-to-vCPU ratio, the new configurations allow customers to right-size their workloads and save on compute and licensing costs.

Amazon RDS for Oracle makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale Oracle Database deployments in the cloud. See Amazon RDS for Oracle Database Pricing for regional availability.
