Starting today Amazon Relational Database Service (RDS) for Oracle supports publishing Oracle Management Agent (OMA) logs from your DB instances to Amazon CloudWatch Logs in the AWS China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD, and the AWS China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet.

By accessing the OMA logs, you can troubleshoot Oracle Management Service (OMS) issues on Amazon RDS for Oracle DB instances that use the OEM_AGENT option. Amazon CloudWatch Logs provides a durable archive destination for your OMA logs. You can specify a retention period to indicate how long you want CloudWatch to retain your logs.

To learn how to publish OMA logs, see RDS for Oracle documentation. To start publishing logs from Amazon RDS for Oracle DB instances to Amazon CloudWatch Logs, use the AWS Management Console, or download the latest AWS SDK or CLI.

Amazon RDS makes it easy to set up, operate, and scale a relational database in the cloud. Publishing OMA Logs to Amazon CloudWatch Logs is now supported in all commercial regions where Amazon RDS for Oracle is available, including the AWS China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD, and the AWS China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet.
