Amazon Glue Studio is a new visual interface for Amazon Glue that makes it easy for extract-transform-and-load (ETL) developers to author, run, and monitor Amazon Glue ETL jobs. You can now use a simple visual interface as well as SQL to compose jobs that move and transform data, and then run them using Amazon Glue’s serverless engine. You can use Amazon Glue Studio’s job run dashboard to monitor ETL job execution and confirm that your jobs are operating as intended.

Amazon Glue Studio makes Amazon Glue accessible to users who are new to Apache Spark and to users who are accustomed to ETL tools with boxes-and-arrows or SQL-based interfaces. Without writing code, users of all experience levels can now perform big data processing on Amazon Glue’s serverless Apache Spark-based ETL platform. In addition, they can use the job monitoring dashboard to get a global view of their ETL activity and resource usage, as well as details on each job and job run.

Amazon Glue Studio is now available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
