Amazon Direct Connect now supports IPv6 in the Amazon Web Services China regions. You can now use IPv6 with your Amazon Direct Connect connection to access cloud resources such as Amazon EC2 Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs) or Amazon S3 buckets from your on-premises network. To connect to other Amazon Web Services products using IPv6 addresses, check the service documentation to verify that IPv6 addressing is supported.
To set up an IPv6 BGP peer with your Amazon Direct Connect connection you need to configure IPv6 under the Additional settings section when creating a new Virtual Interface.
Amazon Direct Connect support for IPv6 is now available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD.
