Elastic Load Balancing now supports TLS ALPN policies for Network Load Balancers. Using TLS offloading with ALPN policies you can now offload your application’s TLS HTTP/2 traffic decryption/encryption logic to the Network Load Balancer, improving your service security posture and reducing operational complexity.

With this new feature, you can now configure your Network Load Balancer TLS ALPN negotiation policies, controlling the version of application requests delivered to your targets. Network Load Balancer TLS ALPN policies support any combination of HTTP/2, HTTP/1.1 and HTTP/1 TLS preference policies, providing you protocol flexibility while simplifying backend target configuration.

Network Load Balancer ALPN policies are now available in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD. To learn more, please refer to the Network Load Balancer documentation
