Starting today, Amazon Systems Manager Explorer provides a summary of Amazon Config rules and associated resource compliance, to help you check overall compliance status and quickly find non-compliant resources in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, Operated by Sinnet, and in the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, Operated by NWCD. Systems Manager Explorer is an operations dashboard that provides a view of your operations data across your Amazon Web Services accounts and Regions, helping you see where you may need to investigate and remediate operational issues. Amazon Config enables you to assess, audit, and evaluate the configurations of your Amazon Web Services resources.

With this new feature, you can now view aggregated Config rule and resource compliance across multiple Amazon Web Services China accounts and Amazon Web Services China regions in Explorer dashboard along with widgets from other Amazon Web Services services. Additionally, you can choose compliant/non-compliant rules and resources in the Config widget to see details such as rule name, remediation action, resource details, and region. You can export these details to a comma-separated values (.csv) file, and publish an Amazon Simple Notification Service (Amazon SNS) notification. In addition to accessing Explorer data from the console, you can also query the data directly with the Amazon API to create your own customized reports.

To get started, select Explorer from the Systems Manager left navigation menu. To learn more, see the documentation on Amazon Systems Manager Explorer or the Amazon Systems Manager product page
