You can now automate the installation and update schedule for the Amazon CodeDeploy agent through integration with Amazon Systems Manager Distributor. With this integration, you can use the Amazon Web Services Management Console or the Amazon CLI to install the agent on demand, or create an update schedule for target instances on Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (Amazon EC2) and on-premises servers.
Amazon Systems Manager helps you safely manage your infrastructure and allows you to automate operational tasks such as installing and updating standard software packages on your infrastructure.
