Windows with SQL Server Enterprise Edition is now available on t2.xlarge and t2.2xlarge instance types in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD. Amazon EC2 T2 instances are the lowest-cost Amazon EC2 General Purpose instance type that provides a baseline level of CPU performance with the ability to burst above the baseline. T2 instances are ideal for a variety of general-purpose applications like micro-services, small and medium databases and product prototypes.
Customers can now launch and run SQL Server Enterprise on t2.xlarge and t2.2xlarge instance types and enjoy fully supported Microsoft software licenses bundled with Amazon EC2. Buying from Amazon Web Services with Microsoft licensing included has many benefits:

t2.xlarge and t2.2xlarge instance types on Windows with SQL Server Enterprise are offered as On-Demand and Reserved Instance in the Amazon Web Services US (Northern Virginia), US East (Ohio), US West (Oregon), US West (Northern California), Asia Pacific (Mumbai), Asia Pacific (Seoul), Asia Pacific (Singapore), Asia Pacific (Sydney), Asia Pacific (Tokyo), Canada (Central), EU (Ireland), EU (London), EU ( Frankfurt), EU (Paris), South America (São Paulo), China (Beijing), China (Ningxia) and Amazon Web Services GovCloud (US) Regions.
