You can now assign tags to your Amazon EC2 Dedicated Hosts upon allocation in Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region operated by Sinnet, and Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region operated by NWCD. Tags enable you to categorize your Amazon Web Services resources in different ways such as by purpose, by owner, or by environment. You can quickly identify a host based on the tags you have assigned to it.
An Amazon EC2 Dedicated Host is a physical server with EC2 instance capacity fully dedicated to your use. Dedicated Hosts can help you address compliance requirements and reduce costs by allowing you to use your existing server-bound software licenses. By tagging hosts at the time of allocation, you can eliminate the need to run custom scripts later on.
