Amazon Web Services Activate China is a program designed to provide your startup with the resources you need to get started on Amazon Web Services. If you've already signed up and were accepted, see below for more information about how to access the benefits included in this program.
Portfolio or Portfolio Plus Package:
If you have been approved for a Portfolio or Portfolio Plus package (your startup is associated with an accelerator, incubator, Seed/VC Fund, or other startup-enabling organization), Amazon Web Services Promotional Credit has been applied to your account based on the following criteria:
- If you applied with your Amazon Web Services (China) Account ID, you'll receive Amazon Web Services Promotional Credit in CNY.
- If you applied with your global Amazon Web Services Account ID, you'll receive Amazon Web Services Promotional Credit in USD.
You can find the amount, expiration date, remaining balance, and applicable Amazon Web Services services your credit can be redeemed for, under the "Credits" tab in your Amazon Web Services (China) Account or in your global Amazon Web Services Account.
Event Promotions:
If you signed up through a special event promotion, you will receive a confirmation email with credit code. The code can be redeemed for Amazon Web Services Promotional Credit in USD. In order to redeem the code, you will need to have a global Amazon Web Services Account.
To redeem the code, go to the "Credits" tab in your global Amazon Web Services Account.
- Go to the Payment Method section of the Billing Console and verify that your credit card on file is valid. Support enrollment will fail if your credit card is not up-to-date.
- You will automatically be enrolled into Amazon Web Services Support upon Activate Portfolio or Porfolio Plus Package application approval. If you signed up for Activate Portfolio or Portfolio Plus Package prior to December 2, 2016 and your application was approved, please follow the support enrollment link in your Activate welcome email to get started.
Your trial date will start on the day you receive your confirmation email.
Once enrolled in Amazon Web Services Support, you can create and manage support cases and access other support related content and services by logging into the Amazon Web Services (China) Account Support Center or Global Account Support Center.

If you have an Amazon Web Services China Region Account:
The first time you log in to Self-paced labs, use the "Amazon Web Services Activate first time sign in" link and input your User ID (the email address you used to sign up for Amazon Web Services Activate China) to generate a new password. Your account will have 80 credits pre-loaded when you log in.

If you have a global Amazon Web Services Account:
