Amazon Web Services Marketplace China introduces new self-service listing feature for single AMI products

Posted on: Apr 9, 2026

Amazon Web Services Marketplace China (MPCN) launches SSLv2 (Self-Service Listings) for single AMI products, enabling MPCN sellers to publish and update AMI listings more efficiently and conveniently with a self-service manner. This feature enables sellers to directly interact with MPCN catalog to create, preview, test, and update their product listing in Amazon Web Services Marketplace China Management Portal (AMMP) , without needing MPCN team to manually process their inputs.
With this release, sellers can create their single AMI product and make most updates by themselves without waiting for the request to be processed. During listing creation, sellers will be taken through a guided step-by-step workflow to fill in required information. Once submitted and validated by the catalog systems, sellers’ listings will be published to limited visibility where sellers can preview and try their products. And when sellers are ready for their listings to go public, they can request a visibility change for MPCN team to validate the product and make it publicly visible for purchase.

The new listing interface works by empowering sellers to directly interact with the latest MPCN Catalog API, validating and then saving sellers’ inputs to the catalog. What’s more, sellers can also make updates to their product listings through this feature. For most submitted requests, MPCN catalog system validates the requested changes and makes the updates to the listing automatically.
