Amazon IAM Access Analyzer now supports organization-wide analyzers in Amazon Web Services China Regions

Posted on: Jan 8, 2026

Amazon Identity and Access Management (IAM) Access Analyzer now supports creation of organization-wide analyzers to help security teams quickly identify when resources in your organization are public or can be accessed from outside of your Amazon Web Services organization.

IAM Access Analyzer continuously monitors policies for changes, meaning you no longer need to rely on intermittent manual checks in order to catch issues as policies are added or updated. IAM Access Analyzer uses the power of automated reasoning—security assurance backed by mathematic proof— to determine all possible access paths allowed by a resource policy. IAM Access Analyzer delivers comprehensive, detailed findings through the Amazon IAM console and also through its APIs.

IAM Access Analyzer is available in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) Region, operated by Sinnet and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) Region, operated by NWCD. To learn more, see the IAM documentation.
