Amazon Web Services Marketplace China launches SSLv2 (Self-Service Listings) for SaaS products
Today, Amazon Web Services Marketplace China (MPCN) launches SSLv2 (Self-Service Listings) for SaaS products, enabling MPCN sellers to publish and manage their SaaS products on MPCN more efficiently and conveniently with a self-service manner. This feature enables sellers to directly interact with MPCN catalog to create, preview, test, and update their SaaS product listings in Amazon Web Services Marketplace China Management Portal (AMMP) instead of emailing and requesting Amazon Web Services Marketplace China Managed Catalog Operation Team (MCO) to create, update and publish SaaS products on sellers’ behalf. This feature will speed up the product listing process.
With this launch, sellers can create their SaaS products and make most updates by themselves. During listing creation, sellers will be taken through a guided step-by-step workflow to fill in required information. Once submitted and validated by MPCN system, the listing is published to limited visibility and the seller can preview, integrate, and test the limited-published products. When the product is ready for public release, sellers can request a visibility change for MPCN teams to validate the product and make it publicly visible for customer purchase.
With SSLv2 (Self-Service Listings), sellers can: 1) independently create and update SaaS product information; 2) flexibly manage SaaS product pricing and visibility; 3) streamline the listing process and reduce time-to-market; and 4) monitor listing status and review progress in real-time. To try the feature now, visit the AMMP and check the SaaS product page.
