FreeRTOS over-the-air update (OTA) now supports integrated code signing in the Amazon Web Services China (Beijing) region, operated by Sinnet, and the Amazon Web Services China (Ningxia) region, operated by NWCD. Code signing provides cryptographic signing of an image file to ensure only genuine code can be installed and run on FreeRTOS devices. You can now login to the Amazon Web Services console, schedule an OTA update job, upload a new firmware image, and sign it automatically for immediate deployment to your entire fleet of IoT devices.

FreeRTOS is an MIT licensed open source, real-time operating system for microcontrollers that makes small, low-power edge devices easy to program, deploy, secure, connect, and manage. You can use Amazon IoT Device Management with FreeRTOS devices for an integrated OTA update solution.

You can get started by downloading source code from FreeRTOS.org, GitHub, or the FreeRTOS console, and can find more information about the FreeRTOS OTA library and demos on FreeRTOS.org, or the FreeRTOS User Guide
