We are excited to introduce the Partner Initiative Funding (PIF) template in the Amazon Web Services Partner Funding Portal (APFP), enabling Amazon Web Services Partners to easily self-access their agreement and any initiative funds without relying on their Amazon Web Services partner manager.

Previously, partners had to provide funding information to their partner managers to request, claim, and report the agreement and initiative funds. The Partner Initiative Funding template unifies and standardizes the different funding experiences into one template, and provides funding transparency throughout the funding cycle. This improves the overall funding process time for partners by having a configurable workflow.

Benefits

With this new PIF template, accessing funding benefits is easier and faster for Amazon Web Services Partners. Benefits include:

  • Consistent management of all funding benefits across different funding motions.
  • Improved visibility and insight on funding status and benefits utilization.
  • Faster time to access funding with automated, configurable approval workflows.

How it Works

Amazon Web Services Partners can find the Partner Initiative Funding template from the Create Fund Request drop-down in the APFP dashboard, or in the Amazon Web Services Partner Funding Benefits landing page.
