For the second year, Amazon Web Services has been named as a Challenger in the 2023 Gartner Application Performance Monitoring (APM) and Observability Magic Quadrant. This report is published annually and assesses vendors based on their Ability to Execute and Completeness of Vision.

According to Gartner, “APM and observability tools are powerful analytics platforms that ingest multiple telemetry feeds and provide critical insight into application health, performance, and increasingly, security.”

Amazon Web Services offers a unified observability solution to help Site Reliability Engineers, DevOps teams, and leaders achieve their goals, SLAs and SLOs. Enterprises leverage Amazon Web Services because we provide an end-to-end platform that collects and consumes multiple data sources, processes and contextualizes the data, and monitors, alarms, visualizes, and analyzes the data for insights from modern applications, workloads, and infrastructures whether they are on-premises, hybrid, containerized, multicloud, or open source. Amazon Web Services Observability fully integrates with more than 120 Amazon Web Services services, partners and a wide range of other third-party observability and cloud management tools that leverage near real-time feeds of Amazon Web Services-native telemetry to power their platforms.
