Teaming with NAB Show to honor sustainability champions in media and entertainment

It’s February, which means it’s only a matter of months before professionals across the media and entertainment (M&E) industry converge in Las Vegas, NV, for the NAB Show , which celebrates its 100 ^th year in 2023. In the show’s centennial year, Amazon Web Services is excited to support a new initiative that will honor the individuals, companies, and products contributing to a more sustainable future for M&E. Now accepting nominations, The NAB Show Excellence in Sustainability Awards will recognize outstanding innovations in media technology that promote conservation and reusability of natural resources and foster economic and social development.

Awards categories include: the Sustainability Champion Award for individuals driving sustainability efforts and programs; the Sustainability Leadership Award for organizations that have launched or completed sustainability initiatives in the past 12 months; and the Sustainability Product or Service Award for products or services released in the past 12 months that significantly improve sustainability or provide sustainable market alternatives.

NAB Show is soliciting nominations for businesses of all sizes, including non-profits. An independent panel of sustainability experts will select award winners to be honored during a special ceremony on the Main Stage at NAB Show on April 16, 2023.

From M&E content creation through delivery, reducing the industry’s carbon footprint will be a key focus this year and for years to come, and these awards are an excellent way to shine the spotlight on trailblazers paving the way.
