We continue to expand the scope of our assurance programs at Amazon Web Services (Amazon Web Services) and are pleased to announce that 107 services are now certified as compliant with the Cloud Infrastructure Services Providers in Europe (CISPE) Data Protection Code of Conduct. This alignment with the CISPE requirements demonstrates our ongoing commitment to adhere to the heightened expectations for data protection by cloud service providers. Amazon Web Services customers who use Amazon Web Services certified services can be confident that their data is processed in adherence with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) .

The CISPE Code of Conduct is the first pan-European, sector-specific code for cloud infrastructure service providers, which received a favorable opinion that it complies with the GDPR . It helps organizations across Europe accelerate the development of GDPR compliant, cloud-based services for consumers, businesses, and institutions.

The accredited monitoring body EY CertifyPoint evaluated Amazon Web Services on January 26, 2023, and successfully audited 100 certified services. Amazon Web Services added seven additional services to the current scope in June 2023. As of the date of this blog post, 107 services are in scope of this certification. The Certificate of Compliance that illustrates Amazon Web Services compliance status is available on the CISPE Public Register . For up-to-date information, including when additional services are added, search the CISPE Public Register by entering Amazon Web Services as the Seller of Record ; or see the Amazon Web Services CISPE page.

Amazon Web Services strives to bring additional services into the scope of its compliance programs to help you meet your architectural and regulatory needs. If you have questions or feedback about Amazon Web Services compliance with CISPE, reach out to your Amazon Web Services account team.
