Amazon Marketplace assessed ‘Awardable’ for DoD work in the P1 Solutions Marketplace

Amazon Web Services (Amazon Web Services) is pleased to announce that Amazon Marketplace has received “Awardable” status in the Department of Defense (DoD) Platform One (P1) Solutions Marketplace. This designation enables DoD organizations to readily access and procure solutions through Amazon Marketplace using established acquisition pathways.

Mission-critical access

The P1 Solutions Marketplace is a digital repository of post-competition, five-minute long readily-awardable pitch videos, which address the government’s greatest requirements in hardware, software, and service solutions. All awardable solutions have been assessed through complex scoring rubrics and competitive procedures.

Amazon Marketplace’s inclusion provides DoD customers with access to more than 4,000 trusted providers that meet federal security and compliance requirements.

Streamlined procurement process

Through this designation, DoD organizations can now make use of Amazon Marketplace providers in order to:

• Access pre-approved solutions through established contracting vehicles
• Accelerate technology deployment timeframes
• Maintain compliance with federal acquisition regulations
• Centralize billing and license management
• Track and optimize IT spending across departments
